The Model
FINANCIAL MODEL
Developed over 3 years and based on combined data from some 20,000 properties, the model forecasts IRR on a wide variety of scale Solar/Battery investments.
It provides the benefit of FREE Solar & Battery systems for Social Housing properties, low-income families, and households suffering fuel poverty.
ALGORITHMS
We have developed proprietary Algorithms that can predict the financial returns from a Solar/battery investment with a high level of accuracy.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Remote Management and Optimisation of Solar/Battery assets help exploit new services such as DSR (Demand Side Response) and grid trading. Only 30-35% of “direct Solar” is consumed annually, but by adding batteries this can be increased to 60-70%.
The average returns based on our modelling are:
- Solar System only 30-35%
- Solar + Battery 25-30%
- Energy Management 15-20% (a key component in achieving the IRR targets)
